Time to Move On
it's time to move on

happy happy days
long long vacation
swimming in beams of sunlight
ipod with new headphones
lunch dinner lunch dinner
and breakfast on soft soft sofa
happy happy days from now on
ginger, leslie, max mara, and daniel
happy days for you
(stroke stroke stroke)
having u driving me
having u across the bridge
my dad dozing off next to me
my mom absentmindedly watching tv
lo! my name in the newspaper
emitting glows of eternity
happy happy days for you now
fear no more the heat o' the sun
if i were to die now
it were to be most happy
ah, my phone
it rang
it was sunny calling
me to reality
swimming in beams of sunlight
ipod with new headphones
lunch dinner lunch dinner
and breakfast on soft soft sofa
happy happy days from now on

"Communication is health;
communication is happiness.
Communication, he muttered" (MD 104).

How does one talk about Mrs. Dalloway?
How does one talk about it as an organic whole
and talk about it sensibly, intelligibly
without reducing its poetic ambiguity,
its emotional complexity,
and its moving musicality?
